Our Story

It all began with one simple idea—a wedding keepsake should feel as special as the moment it holds. In 2019, our founder Ellie James—then a bridal stylist in Yorkshire—couldn’t find a ring box that matched her client’s vision: soft tones, timeless shape, no mass production. So she designed her own. That first velvet box, handmade and stitched in a local workshop, sparked what would grow into Little Bridal Box.

The very first velvet ring box design
We didn’t have a studio in the beginning. Orders were wrapped on a dining room table, often late into the night. Every handwritten note was signed with gold ink. There was no launch campaign. Just care, and word of mouth. That care caught on. By the end of the first year, brides from 17 countries had discovered our boxes. Not because we were loud—but because we were thoughtful.

Over time, the collection grew—from one box to over 80 designs including heirloom ring holders, embroidered robes, silk vow books, and gifting sets. But the soul of the shop has never changed. We still partner with independent artisans, we still source sustainable materials, and we still hand-pack each order with precision, ribbon, and heart.

Our name—Little Bridal Box—is a nod to more than just packaging. It’s a symbol of *small things done well.* The quiet beauty in detail. The elegance of restraint. The idea that one meaningful object, chosen with love, can last for years and carry a story longer than a ceremony.

Today, we ship worldwide. Our designs have been featured in bridal magazines, styled shoots, and thousands of wedding mornings. But more importantly, they’ve become part of people’s lives. They’ve held rings that proposed across oceans. They’ve rested in velvet trays on mornings filled with nerves and joy. They’ve been passed down.

That’s the story we’re still writing. One box, one bride, one memory at a time. And we’re so glad you’re here for it.
